No other news today, just venting a bit at the rather hopeless situation that is using Firefox under KDE.
First, some more housekeeping. March articles (all one of them) have been archived, along with the news for that month.
Second, a new article has been posted, about Iraq Funding, since I do have something of an interest in American politics (it's a subject that affects just about everyone these days.
Third, personal stuff. I was hoping Feisty Fawn would fix my sound problems, and it hasn't. Ubuntu has let me down again. This is apparently a problem with the kernel, but that hardly solves my problem, it just makes it even worse since my only solution to this right now seems to be going back to Windows. Ugh.
We also haven't sold this house yet, so I can't just get on ahead and start planning to build Shizuku, like I really want to do. I will make sure I build Shizuku entirely from Linux-friendly components though. I'm not making this mistake twice.
Finally, I've ordered some stuff from Amazon to try and distract myself from Chihiro and Ubuntu's failings. God of War II, Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, and four volumes of Rozen Maiden manga should help with that.
