After three days of determined reading, I managed to read through the entire archives of Wicked Alchemy (which turned out to be much longer than I expected), and it's now been added to the Bookmarked Comics list. This means I no longer have a backlog to read through, so I'm free to have a go at all that manga and anime that's been piling up.
I've still got writer's block though.
After two days of determined reading, I managed to read through the entire archives of Mystic Revolution, which has now been added to the Bookmarked Comics list. That only leaves wicked alchemy, which doesn't seem that big all of a sudden.
I'm currently dry on ideas for articles, so I guess one will arrive whenever something inspires me.
An update, and the review of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is now up. I've also made a very long overdue update to my Bookmarked Comics list. In other news, I splurged again after promising I wouldn't, and got more stuff:
But seriously, can any good anime/manga otaku blame me? This is all grade A stuff, and I got the lot for a little over £80! It'd be a crime not to buy it!
In PC news, I'm very much enjoying fully working sound (Amarok currently playing: Asia no Junshin, by Puffy AmiYumi) and GVIM seems fully smooth, which it should on a Core 2 Duo E6750 with a GeForce 8800 GT and full hardware acceleration.
Finally, archiving of April material is now done. Won't be long until I have to do that again.
pointlessness is not dead!
I decided to hold off on updating pointlessness until I finally had my old files copied over and my old 'webdev' directory back on my main PC. As you can see, this took quite some time to achieve.
Back to actual updates then. Shizuku is working (with full sound!), I have a Kodak EasyShare P850 (which is nice, if a bit fiddly at times), and I've seen Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (which I will likely write a review of later on). Once things have settled down, I'll do the usual housekeeping, then get back to writing articles for pointlessness. I haven't been doing nearly enough this year so far.
