Page Notes

Sub-articles

This is a place on which I put whatever I can think of that deserves an article written about it. I give no guarantees for accuracy, coherence, or even spelling (though I do try) since a lot of what I write is done in the small hours when inspiration tends to hit me.

All pages are written in XHTML 1.1 with external CSS files and some PHP. They are best viewed in any standards-compliant browser at whatever resolution you most feel comfortable using.

The site design was inspired by The Best Page In The Universe, though the underlying code is entirely different.

The index page and first four articles were originally made using Notepad++ under Windows XP. However, I switched to Kubuntu Linux soon after that. Most articles since were made with Kate, but I have since switched to using GVIM.

Ugly Joe, MonsieurSirhan, and SwampGas helped me with various issues on the site through Zophar's Message Domain. The change from embedded CSS to separate CSS was done by myself with a lot of help from HTML Source.

I chose to license all of my pages under both the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 License or later and the GNU Free Documentation License 1.2 or any later version published by the Free Software Foundation with no Invariant Sections, no Front-Cover Texts and no Back-Cover Texts. This is because I wanted my work to be under a free licence, but didn't feel good enough about the GFDL to use it exclusively. Anyone wanting to use content from my pages may do so under either licence.
